CAPTAIN

Don King - USA
Captain Don King hails from the Cowboy State of Wyoming and has been in the yachting world for over 20 years. Spending his summers in Corpus Christi, Texas as a child, Don realized from an early age that he wanted to be by the ocean having been raised in the mountains of Sheridan, Wyoming and working in his family’s Western tack and rope store. He soon moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1993 to pursue an estate management job for a family in Palm Beach that also allowed him to spend his summers on their ranch in Wyoming. On his days off, he worked as a divemaster along the Palm Beaches and began meeting people in the yachting industry. This sparked his interest into gaining his captain’s license and soon led to job openings aboard private/charter yachts as a captain and/or chef. Don holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Miami and attends any Hurricane football games. His hobbies include coaching travel baseball, polo, rod and anything saltwater relate. Don and the crew of Grade I look forward to serving you during your time aboard.
